We will be having our Family Christmas Celebration with our traditional Cookie Exchange, Family Photo Spot, and some extra treats and blessings. Be sure to invite your whole family to join you that day and make it a part of your Christmas festivities.  

December 24

3PM

 On December 24th, we will have one Christmas Eve Service at 3 p.m. There will be no child care for this service, but the worship and message will be tailored to be sensitive to the needs of the whole family. We will conclude the service with our annual candlelight 'Silent Night' vigil.

Once you have accepted Jesus Christ, getting water baptized is an important next step. Our water baptisms take place after each service. 

Water baptism is a step of faith in which you publicly declare your belief in Jesus. We water baptize all who desire to do so in a heated tub. Towels, a change of clothes, and a signed baptism certificate is provided to every person. Anyone who believes in Jesus and is of any age who can specifically express their faith (usually around the age of 8 or older) is welcome to participate. If you have never been water baptized, or if you were baptized as a very small child when it was really the decision of your parents and not from your own faith, we encourage you to consider fulfilling this command of Jesus.

 Child Dedication is a biblical practice            

(1 Samuel 1:21-28) where parents present their child in dedication to God and commit to raise him or her in a godly way. We offer this to members (we refer to them as Partners) of Forged In Faith Church.

 Lifewise
Lifewise is a national group that aims to get bible education offered in public schools. They've had great success in some neighboring school districts and they are now looking for signatures to get one started in Deer Lakes! In years past Pastor Vince grew a small youth group into a massive town-changing ministry by volunteering in a group much like this one in his local middle school. If you could, please take a minute and fill out their simple form, adding your name to the list of those who would like to see this happen.
